Definition of road movie:
A road movie is a movie where the main characters go on a road trip, i.e. leave home to travel from place to place (by car, hitch-hiking, motor cycle, bus, but it has to be along a road). By altering their day-to-day perspective, they change, grow and/or improve over the course of the trip.
