This is the first time you write a movie or movie trailer analysis. Therefore, I will give you quite a lot of help during the writing. Writing the analysis will be both an opportunity for learning new words and gaining new writing skills, as well as one of the writing assignment I will use for grading.
After the writing, we will have a lesson where you assess each other's texts (Fri Jan 24) and then you will be given another lesson (Mon Jan 27) to make changes and edit your texts based on the feedback you have received from your class mates.
The rules during the two lessons (Fri, Jan 17 and Mon Jan 20) when you write the analysis:
- You can ask me for help, not each other
- You write the entire analysis in school, nothing at home
- No copying of any kind from any other texts (=cheating). If unsure - ask me.
